A normally functioning brain will give you a proper sense of free will. A psychotic person will wrongly think his consciousness and free will are normal. If a sick or damaged brain is thought of as a biologic computer, his control of his mind-screen will not be correct. Obviously other folks will have to tell him he is not thinking clearly.
