How reliable is science? (The limitations of science)
The sad fact is that the majority of practicing physicians are not yet aware of how to properly correct for elevated inflammatory risk factors (such as C-reactive protein and fibrinogen). > > As a result of physician ignorance or insurance company stinginess, many Americans experience progressive debilitating congestive heart failure or cerebral circulatory impairment, when the underlying causes could have been corrected if the physician ordered and then properly interpreted these blood tests.[/i]-Tony, Did the article mention the corrective measures to take in such cases where the inflammatory risk factors were higher? Both my parents had heart attacks -late in life and are still alive - and I have a Congenital Bicuspid Aorta that I've been told at some point will have to be replaced, so was curious how to make sure the inflammation is kept down, and could relate the information to my parents as well if you can point me to it!-Thanks, bb
