Could you be more explicit as to what it was she "dreamed of past relatives". Did she dream their names, or just what they looked like, or some events that happened to them? And why did she think they were "past relatives"? The obvious interpretaion to be put on this experience is that the dream was re-remembered, reinterpreted, reconfigured, not deliberately, but as a normal activity of one's mind, to fit with the new evidence.
