You rightly (in my view) tell us it has not taught us that neurons produce human consciousness; you wrongly and confusingly (in my view) suggest that reductive materialism has taught us that cells do not have consciousness. - All the experts claim is that cells have the ability to respond intelligently. Which does not mean they have an innate form of intelligence.
